Joe joined Malloy in May 2018, initially serving as a General Sales Manager and working his way up. Joe entered the automotive industry as a sales consultant after moving from San Diego, CA, to Virginia at age 23.
After a period where he pursued his passion for building, he re-entered the automotive industry following the 2008 recession and has been in it ever since. His path included roles as a finance manager, Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager and now General Manager.
Joe’s ability to listen and communicate are two crucial components for not only successfully managing and retaining employees, but also ensuring the customer purchase process is as enjoyable as possible. His focus as a GM is to implement processes and people to drive growth and stability while coaching individuals toward their professional and personal goals. The most valuable lesson he’s learned is that "tomorrow is not promised," advising against complacency.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and playing golf. You can frequently find Joe laughing and joking with his staff and customers, or reminding those around him that "Every day is a new day with unlimited potential!".
